Contest Rules, Regulations, and Details
Contest Begins: Monday, September 17, 2007 12:00 AM (midnight)
Contest Closes: Sunday, October 21, 2007 11:59:59 PM
All times are given for the USA Eastern Time Zone (US/ET).


How To Enter
  • Participants MUST post in THIS thread to enter the contest.
  • Please note you should NOT begin referring people until your name has been added to the list at the bottom of this post.
  • All referrals must be real-life, unique, living human beings.
  • All referrals must Introduce themselves AND include the name of his/her referrer in the post.
Rules
  • Please note, if you are going to try to gain referrals via posting to message boards (forums), mailing lists, etc, we ask that you first ensure your message does not violate the ToS (Terms of Service) or rules/regulations for the message board, mailing list, etc.
  • Registering multiple "smurf" accounts for the purpose of the contest will result in disqualification.
  • Anyone caught cheating will be disqualified.
All rules, regulations, and contest details are subject to change at any time. Changes will be made as RenWerX Studios deems necessary.

The dates have been fixed on the main news post, the contest is from September 17th until the 21st of October. There was a slight snafu in the logistics of the competition.

It has been brought to my attention that I cannot successful read calendars anymore. I have appearently generated a large deal of confusion. I give my most sincere apologies to everyone.

I wonder how many referrals the winner will have. I'm guessing about 30.

What do I have to do? i somehow dont get this competition

When someone registers on the forums, they can name an already registered user as the person who referred them to this site. Your name being entered = +1 referral 4 yuo.

vBulletin gives a quick description here.

Basically, you invite someone to RenWerX.
They register on our forums.
During their registration, there is a small box for them to enter your name in.
After that, the forums will credit you with one referral.
That person then needs to post in our introduce yourself thread.
After that, we will credit you with one referral.
The most referrals win.

I'll try to put up some directions with screenshots a little later - I'm trying to meet a homework deadline right now.

How do you sign up as an "entrant?" Or do you just start earning referrals..?

Cant wait even if I don't win on getting that beta I'm sure if its that far along that the game is well on its way.

Seriously, we need more participants. This contest has the potential to bring literally hundreds of newcomers to Ascension.
