Contest Rules, Regulations, and Details
Contest Begins: Immediately
Contest Closes: Friday, February 15, 2008 11:59:59 PM - ***(EXTENSION Sunday, February 17, 2008 11:59:59 PM )***
All times are given for the USA Eastern Time Zone (US/ET).



Details
Gnome Fan Art
  • This contest is open to anyone.
  • To win the beta spot or T-Shirt, you must submit a picture, video, or animation (real-life, computer-generated, or both) of a gnome or gnomes.
  • Unlimited entries.
  • Humor and/or artistic skill will be rewarded.
  • If you do not have a place to host your artwork, please contact me via PM, and we will arrange hosting.
  • Entries may be placed in this thread or PMed to me.
Artwork will be judged by a panel of RenWerX staff members.


Prizes
  • First Place - Closed Beta Spot or a RenWerX/Ascension T-Shirt
  • Second Place - Closed Beta Spot (if first place wins a T-Shirt)
RenWerX reserves the right to only award prizes if quality work is submitted.



Rules
  • You may have as many entries as you like.
  • No NWS/NSFW material. That means nothing that is inappropriate for work-place viewing or the atmosphere we maintain here at RenWerX Studios. NWS material will result in being disqualified. If you have to ask, it is probably inappropriate.
  • Anyone caught cheating will be disqualified. Plagiarism is cheating. If you are caught stealing someone else's work, you will not be eligible for future contests.
  • Registering multiple "smurf" accounts for the purpose of the contest will result in disqualification.
By submitting your artwork to this contest, you are agreeing to its [the artwork's] use by RenWerX Studios for promotional, production, or internal use.
All rules, regulations, and contest details are subject to change at any time. Changes will be made as RenWerX Studios deems necessary.

Yes to both of those.
One of the devs made a map, then one of the other devs introduced a model of a gnome into a dark corner of said map, then the original map creator, while just running around the map, ran around a dark corner right into said gnome who wasn't supposed to be there and freaked out/almost wet their pants.

If you ask me it was an awesome prank, I just wish I could have been there >: )

I'm sorry, I should have clarified that better. The gnomes are an old running joke around here.

You can't be creative with an image? I don't buy that ava. You've been doing this stuff forever.

I'm interested in seeing what everyone has so far. I've only seen a few (incomplete) entries.

Crap. Can we get an extension on this contest? Perhaps the deadline can be extended to Sunday evening?

I don't know about anyone else but I have been swamped at school this past 2 weeks. I don't want to half-axe my submission since I have to work all day today
