What are they doing to fill open positions?

Will there be a FAQ for new people interested in the game?

What is one thing that they can release to the public to keep us interested and active on the forums (news, map run-throughs, skins, new models)?

What measures are they planning for the excessive amount of bug reporting during closed beta and final release (will there be a "report a bug" section on the website)?

If they are having trouble finding skinners why not release a model (or a few) to the public to have a skinning contest?

What are the plans (if any) to incorporate more closed beta testers?

What is the ideal amount of closed beta testers?

after reading Byte's latest blog. I'm wondering if there is a specific version of TGEA that the ascension dev team are looking forward to?

At what version of TGEA will they say enough is enough, either we are rolling this out (the game that is) on this version or we are scrapping the engine?

Will there be server support for AOL users who use flash extensions over Ruby on C#?

I think i mentioned this in IRC once many moons ago when i actually logged onto IRC. What do the devs think about someone organizing some kind of "fund raiser" of sorts to rally community members to donate funds to get some compensation for the RenWerx team for all their hard work?

Why do you keep "upgrading" the engine and consequently breaking stuff over and over again instead of sticking with an older version?

Though I suppose this question should have been asked something like 2 years ago.

I suspect that a fear of people complaining about poor graphics that look 2 years old has something to do with it and engines likely don't get supported after a certain time, or requests for fixes only get addressed in new stuff.

Personally I would be happy with a game that had no better graphics than T1 but managed to avoid the hacks. I am so worried that the modability of this game is going to leave it hacked the first week of release some time after I die. Well, If I'm dead I guess I won't worry that much.

Did I mention I am ready for this puppy to be done? err dog.

Just to let you know, any questions that aren't answered in the interview will be answered here in this thread.

when is this interview happening?

BOM you should know better than to expect a game without hacks...unfortunately its the largest downside to PC gaming. Its why I have moved mostly to single player console gaming.

But I know where you are coming from, I myself am hoping for the best, but expecting the worst.

Even then, they could make (could have made) the beta on an older engine version, then do one big upgrade and fix things only once.

Too late now anyway though.

Chewspitt, friends don't let friends play first person shooters on consoles.
